TEAMbuilder is an innovative approach to the science of 360° feedback that allows participants to score themselves and other team members in the four achievement focus areas of Character, Competence, Discipline, and Harmony. Additionally, participants can view management’s assessment of the relative values of each trait for the organization.

Once participants are consistently achieving acceptable levels of Productivity, as measured by the Priority Alignment Tool, they are ready to transition to TEAMbuilder. Rather than simply tracking the accomplishment of tasks, this powerful tool allows each participant to recognize their strengths and weaknesses, helping them grow in a variety of areas, and guiding them to more effectively demonstrate their value to the organization.

Results of the TEAMbuilder assessment are completely confidential; only the participant can access his or her personal scores. (Management has access to supervisor responses, but no other ratings.) Additionally, all responses are anonymous. This combination of anonymity and confidentiality assures valid responses and allows each team member to develop a clear understanding of how their performance is viewed by peers, supervisors, and direct reports.

Once an assessment has been completed, TEAMbuilder analyzes the responses to provide scores in each area and for each trait. By weighting each trait according to the value it provides the organization and how the individual is performing, TEAMbuilder is able to provide the participant with statistically significant and focused recommendations. From this basis the individual follows the CAS Process and Plays to schedule their month’s intentions and develop a Personal Value Statement that describes the participant’s contribution to the organization.

With both the PAT and TEAMbuilder recommendations, participants can easily recognize the areas they want to focus on each month, and follow the Process and Plays to create meaningful and achievable monthly objectives to demonstrate the validity of their Personal Value Statement.
